Play & Sing [Guitar] is aimed at participants who want to play and sing Chinese and English pop songs with the guitar. We focus mainly on how to play chords, coordination of playing and singing together, and how to find your own key for any song. In other words, be your own karaoke.

Stage 2	Intermediate Guitar Accompaniment (16 sessions, 60 mins each) Intermediate strumming and plucking styles Intermediate chords Introductions & interludes Tablatures Covers approx. 8 songs
Stage 3	Arranging Your Choice of Songs (16 sessions, 60 mins each) Working out and exploring chord choices Developing arrangement ideas Covers approx. 8 songs

Recommended for:
• Total beginners with no musical experiences

Do I need to own a guitar?
Yes, we strongly encourage all students to purchase their own instruments for home practice.  We recommend students to either get an entry-level folk (steel-string) or classical (nylon-string) guitar as a start. As you improve over time, you may consider upgrading your instruments.
